Founder Mr.Giby Thomas has spent over 20 years working in and travelling throughout South India. He has earned Superior domain proficiency in capital markets and wealth management strategies
During this time he has been charge of Sales and Marketing and managed funds totalling over INR.2500 Crs. Prior to Launching Edina One in Jan 2020, Mr.Giby Thomas was with Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd (A Blackstone group Company) most recently as its Regional Sales Head of Retail Liabilities - South and Previously with Union Asset Management as its Vice President, Branch Head of Kerala with Franklin Templeton Investments & ICICI Prudential Asset Management before beginning his career with Integrated Enterprises India Ltd.
During his tenure he served a key role in setting up retail liability team at Aadhar, Distribution channels of Indian Postal Service at Templeton, Public sector banks at Union Asset Management and setting up mutual fund business at Kottayam and Trivandrum for ICICI Prudential AMC.
Mr.Giby Thomas is a Post Graduate in Business Administration from Madras University and Specializes in Finance and Marketing. He has also added professional certifications in Financial Planning, Mutual Funds and Insurance.
Back in school till College, Mr.Giby was an active Lawn Tennis player and won several state championships and represented Kerala state in National and Inter-University Events and a Life Member of All India Tennis Association.
He is a member of Indian Orthodox Church youth group and a Life Member of UNI-Y, a University students wing of Y.M.C.A. and loves Music and Travelling.
